Believe it or not, we were high school pals who lost touch, as life led us in different directions around the globe. If someone had told me at eighteen that, five decades down the road, I’d be shooting the breeze with my high school mates over a network of global computers, I’d have laughed it off as pure sci-fi nonsense. Back then, the idea of such a form of communication was as far-fetched as flying cars.

Five decades later, and we’re still those carefree girls who spent hours on the phone, even if we’d just seen each other earlier in the day. Ah, the wonders of technology!
